Stream Assessment Volunteer Training

September 10, 2022 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

Help us monitor stream health through riffle bioassessments – the collection and identification of benthic macroinvertebrates (stream bugs) that are indicators of water quality.

The training will begin with a presentation at the Eightmile River office location. Then we’ll drive to Devil’s Hopyard State Park for field training. Once trained you can help us monitor streams on weekends throughout the fall season in the Salmon or Eightmile River Watershed.

In the case of inclement weather, field training would be postponed.
